Deskripsi<\/p>\n

Pagi itu, dapur terasa terlalu sunyi bagi Tama. Bukan karena tak ada bunyi\u2014kompor tetap mendesis, pisau tetap mengetuk talenan, air tetap mengalir di bak cuci\u2014melainkan karena tak ada lagi suara yang biasa mengiringinya. Tidak ada gumam doa ibunya saat merebus air. Tidak ada langkah kecil istrinya yang sering datang diam-diam dari belakang hanya untuk mencuri sejumput rasa, lalu tersenyum puas. Sunyi yang paling menyakitkan memang bukan ketiadaan suara, melainkan hilangnya kebiasaan. Tama berdiri di tengah dapur sempit itu, menatap panci yang berisi kuah bening. Tangannya bergerak otomatis, seperti mesin yang sudah lama diprogram: menabur garam, mengaduk perlahan, mencicipi dengan sendok kecil. Rasanya pas. Selalu pas. Sejak dulu, lidah Tama nyaris tak pernah keliru. Ia profesional di bidang kuliner, kata orang-orang. Lulus dari sekolah perhotelan ternama, pernah bekerja di restoran besar, pernah pula menjadi konsultan menu. Namun pagi itu, untuk pertama kalinya, ia berharap masakannya sedikit saja meleset. Agar ada alasan untuk mengulang. Agar ada sesuatu yang bisa diperbaiki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
