Eko Sediyono, M.Kom.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Hindriyanto Dwi Purnomo, Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p>Rp. 80.000<\/p>\n<p>Deskripsi<\/p>\n<p>Teknologi jaringan komputer telah berkembang pesat, terbukti dari meningkatnya kompleksitas sistem informasi. Selain kemajuan tersebut, ada gangguan yang dapat meningkatkan risiko terhadap aset suatu organisasi atau individu. Mekanisme pertahanan tradisional seperti firewall dan deteksi berbasis signature terbukti kurang memadai [1, 2]. Mekanisme tersebut gagal mengurangi serangan baru yang kompleks secara efektif. Serangan dimaksud mencakup Denial of Service (DoS), Remote-to-Local (R2L), dan User-to-Root (U2R). Studi terbaru menekankan bahwa efektivitas Intrusion Detection System (IDS) sering dibatasi oleh beberapa tantangan [3]. IDS dapat dikategorikan berdasarkan metode deteksinya menjadi dua jenis utama. Pertama, signature-based detection, yang mencocokkan lalu lintas jaringan dengan basis data pola serangan yang sudah dikenal. Metode ini efektif untuk serangan terdokumentasinamun tidak mampu mendeteksi serangan baru (zero-day attacks) dan memerlukan pembaruan signature secara berkala. Kedua, anomaly- based detection yang mempelajari pola perilaku normal jaringan dan mengidentifikasi aktivitas yang menyimpang sebagai potensi serangan.
